Stephen Curry, Shohei Ohtani score big at 2022 ESPY Awards: Here's all the winners
Can Stephen Curry's year get any better? It just did Wednesday.
After picking up trophies for the All-Star Game MVP, the Western Conference Finals MVP, the NBA Finals MVP and the 2022 NBA championship this year, Curry added two more ESPY Awards to his mantel. (Did we add that he served as the night's host as well?)
Despite losing the coveted best athlete honor, Curry won best record-breaking performance and best NBA player at the 2022 ESPY Awards, ESPN's annual celebration for all things sports, held Wednesday night at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
He also took part in the Golden State Warriors' best team award.
"The only reason I really wanted to host is I thought that I would be able to present myself with the award," Curry joked while accepting one of his trophies.
