Hello Boss babes and Bosses out there! In this article, you are going to read about the Facebook page organic growth. It’s because I saw a comment on our previous article which is the Instagram organic growth strategies . So, just the same thought, organic growth but on a different platform. But for now, we are going to focus more on the organic growth for Facebook page. The things that I’m going to share with you, the strategies and tips that I will be sharing are also the same ways on how we are trying to grow our own Facebook page. So far, we really haven’t implemented any ads for our own Facebook page. All of our traffic is organic reach.
And also, for our clients, though some of our clients are really willing to pay for Facebook ads, but still, we implemented our own growth strategies for that. It complements the Facebook ads they have implemented. If you want to learn more about the strategies that we are implementing to our own Facebook page and to our clients’ Facebook page, keep on reading. Before I’m going to dive in ,I would like you to know that handling a Facebook page . Yes, there’s a different approach in handling a page and a group. Because the goal of the page is that you are trying to get more reach organically. Our goal is for your page to get visible to people who have not seen your page yet. It’s likely more on brand awareness and letting the people know that you exist. So, that’s the main goal of a Facebook page.
And for Facebook group, it’s more on nurturing the relationships inside your tribe, the members inside your Facebook group. So the goal is to nurture them and help them with their needs so that you could easily build trust. Once you get their trust, it would be easier for you or for your clients to sell the service that you have or maybe the course or the products that you have. That’s the goal of a Facebook group, more on nurturing the relationship of the members inside your group or tribe. And for Facebook page, it’s more on getting more reach for your page to get known. It’s really more on brand awareness, you are letting people know that you exist. That’s the purpose of a Facebook page. I hope you get that. We are going to focus more on the page.
1. Optimize your Facebook Page
Okay, so the tip number one, yes the same with our Instagram , we have tip . On our Instagram tutorial, Step 1 is to optimize the profile. The same with Facebook, our Facebook page should contain information in the About Us section. The graphics must be good, the display picture and the cover banner. It should be optimized and the necessary statement should be seen there. What your page is all about? What are you selling? What type of content do you publish on your Facebook page? They should easily see and know about all those in your bio, your contact details. And if you are giving services, they should see what time do you operate and such. If you still don’t know how to optimize your Facebook page, . I already talked about what are the things that you needed to fill out and the information you have to provide. So, you might want to check that out after this one as well. Now, let’s proceed to tip number one.
2. Know the Best Time to Post
The second tip that I can share with you is to know the right time of posting. That is one of the most important things you needed to know, not just for Facebook. Even on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and of course, Facebook. When is the peak hours of your page audience? When do they usually engage? When do they usually go online?
3. Share Content to Facebook Groups
The Third tip that I can suggest that really works for us is sharing the content of your page to Facebook groups. Just take note that when you are going to share content from your Facebook page to Facebook groups, those groups should be within your niche. You can’t post work-from-home or social media kind of content to pet lovers’ Facebook groups. It’s out of niche.
- That’s the first thing that you are going to do, make sure that the Facebook group that you are going to post on has the same niche as your Facebook page.
- The second tip is to make sure that you have read the rules and regulations. It must be indicated there that you can share content from outside pages or the content that you have. If not, don’t share your content there and you can just engage instead.
- The third tip is that don’t share your content daily. You may share just at least one content or two content from your page to that group.
It also depends on how active that particular group is. Sometimes, there are groups that are not that active. So, even though you are just sharing one content per week from your Facebook page, the posts will more on still be from you since that group is not so active. So, your post frequency must depend on how active the group is. If it’s so active, like in just one day, there are 10 new posts on that group, maybe you can share at least twice a week. It’s also so that the admin will not think, “Why does it seem that Sui just uses my group for audience reach?” You have to control the frequency of posting on that group so that not all the content are just coming from you.
4. Invite People who liked your post to like your page
The Forth tip is I’m going to share with you is to ask the person who liked your post to like your page as well. I’m not sure if that’s clear but here’s my screen so that you can see how you are going to do that.
5. Create Shareable Content
The Fifth tip I’m going to share with you is to create shareable content. Maybe you are asking,” Okay, Sui, what contents are shareable?” So most of the contents that are shareable, it’s more on informative content, it’s more relatable to your audience, it’s more on funny or entertaining kind of content. If you still don’t know how you are going to do that, and you are not sure what kind of content to post, basically, for the summation of that kind of content, if that content is relatable, if your audience resonates with it, that’s good. You have to know what they are going through and what kind of problem they are facing so that you can give a solution to their problem. Because once you are solving or helping other people, it would be really a valuable content. But if ever you really don’t have an idea on the type of content that your audience or followers on social media would want to see, You can ask them on your IG stories, add a poll and ask the kind of content they would love to see. Or maybe you can just put the question element on your stories. You can use that one as well so that they will just type in what type of content they are interested to see on your post. I do that inside my group and in my stories on Instagram as well. So it’s very helpful for me to know what content you need, and what are the things that you need help with or you need someone to guide you with, something like that. That is a tip for you guys if you still don’t know what content your audience would like to see.
6. Collaborate with other Facebook Pages
So for the sixth tip I’m going to share with you is to collaborate with other pages. Just make sure that your followers’ count is in the same level or range as theirs. If he or she is your friend, then it would be easier for you to invite them like, “Hey!” “If I will post something like this, please share this on your page so that your audience can see it and I can reach them.” “And every time you post something, I will also share it to my page so that my audience could see your post as well.” You will be expanding your reach by sharing audiences with each other. For example, you have 5000 followers or likers, then he or she has 100,000 followers, if he or she is not your friend, they might not agree with this. So just reach out to those in the same level or range. Ask those who have 3000 to 8000 followers, or 3000 to 10,000 followers if they are willing to do that. Especially if money does not matter ,if the goal is to help the audience, it would be okay. For me, it would be okay to share other contents as well, as long as it will help my audience. As long as you have the same goal, just to help the audience, I think that would be okay. That would be not a big deal to share audience, right? So maybe you can just try to reach out and if it’s okay with them, then that’s good. If they are not okay with that, it’s okay. Move on. That is just how life is, right?
7. Post Testimonials
The seventh tip I’m going to share with you guys is about testimonials. Testimonials are so, so good when you are going to post that on your social media accounts. But it will be more effective to get more clients through the testimonials if you include the call to action on how to attain that kind of result. For example, on our Facebook page, this one. We just started sharing the testimonials of you guys having clients just by watching our videos. You can see here that it becomes more effective if you are putting a call to action. If you are putting something like, “Hey, you want this kind of results? Watch and follow this video here for more information.” The more you are stating something on how they are going to get the same results on your testimonials, it would be more effective rather than just posting it like, “This is what my client says.” So, okay, the question in their mind is “How can I also get that kind of results from you guys?” “So, you just watch this video .”Or any other call the action. If you are a product-based company or a product-based page, maybe you can point out, “Hey, here’s the product to get rid of your pimples.” So more likely, if I see, “Oh, her face looks so good and this is the product that was mentioned in the testimonials.” “Let me click and see this product she claimed to have helped her get rid of her pimples.” It really becomes more effective if you are really trying to give more value than just the testimonials said by your clients or the reviews given by your customers. I seem to get confused by how I explained that but hopefully, you get my point.
8. Do Facebook Live
The eighth tip I’m going to share with you is Facebook live. That is what I always suggest to my clients if they are selling something like, for example, courses or they are trying to sell services. Facebook live is really, really a big way to reach more people as you can interact with your audience, you can ask them to do something that you like. For example, “Comment down what are the things that you want help with.” You can easily see there what their usual problems are, or the things that they need help with, or maybe you can just ask them, “Hey, share my Facebook live to your timeline or to the groups that you belong.” And that would really be a big help to reach more audience. And once you go live on Facebook, Facebook users will get notified, “Hey, your friend is going live.” or “Hey, this Facebook page is going live.” They will be notified.
That’s why they can click it. So the moment that they are going to click it, that is another reach. And the Facebook algorithm will always record how many people watch and engage on your Facebook page while you are on live. And if they see that they are really engaging ,that they are enjoying your Facebook live, your Facebook live will be pushed through to other Facebook users. And that’s a very great way to reach more traffic on your Facebook page. Only those who liked and followed your page will get to see your posts. For those people who did not like nor follow your Facebook page, they will not see your post unless their Facebook friend shared your content. So, our real goal here is to create content that is shareable and informative that can help your audience, that can give information to your audience so that they would share it.
Because the more they share our content, the more reach our page will get as the content will appear on the timeline of their friends even though they have not yet liked or followed the page. So that’s the goal. You can use these Facebook growth tips that I have shared with you, guys. Let me know if this works for you or not.
